A Sequence to Boost Your Energy

This time of year, things can be  super busy. We are often left feeling exhausted and we're only half way through our list.

Here is a short Ki Yoga sequence to help boost your Kidney meridian energy. When Kidney is in balance you feel motivated and flow through life's challenges with ease.

If any part of this sequence causes discomfort or pain, discontinue the practice.

Lay on your front
Arms reaching forward
Inhale

As you exhale, raise the opposite arm and leg.
Alternate sides (almost as if you are swimming)

Repeat 8 times on each side.

Press your hands into the floor underneath your shoulders

As you exhale, gently lift your chest and feet, keeping your hands pressed into the floor.
Inhale down.

Repeat 6 times.

Sit with one leg extended and the other foot resting at the thigh.
Start by sitting straight. Raise your arms to shoulder height.

As you exhale, gently lean back to a 45 degree angle.
As you inhale move back to center.

Inhale back to center.

Repeat the whole sequence 3 times.

Sit with one leg out to the side, the other foot into the center.

Reach out to the extended leg and reach the opposite arm over. Look up under the arm.
